Drawn to the Light is part of my Waterworks series with a mermaid theme.

The shimmering rays form a magical halo, beckoning her closer to the world above. Her delicate scales catch glimmers of the ethereal glow, as her heart dances with a longing for the surface. In this enchanting moment, the mermaid’s curiosity overflows, igniting an irresistible desire to breach the divide and bask in the warmth and brilliance that awaits her above the waves.
This painting was made with oil paints on a gallery canvas, which does not require framing, as the sides are painted. The painting has been coated with archival varnish, which extends its longevity and further protects it from dust and scratches.
