This painting is my interpretation of winter’s beauty—not harsh or barren, but serene, luminous, and full of colour. It reminds me that even in the coldest and most dormant moments, nature continues to offer warmth, beauty, and unexpected surprises.

I wanted to capture that fleeting moment when daylight is fading and the landscape becomes still and peaceful. The reflection on the water was particularly important to me, as water often plays a significant role in my work. It not only mirrors the beauty above it, but also adds depth, movement, and a sense of quiet contemplation.
