I was drawn to this scene because it captures a beautiful moment of transition in nature. The last light of the setting sun casts a warm glow across the sky and reflects gently on the still water, creating a striking contrast with the coolness of the snow-covered landscape.

What fascinated me most was the unusual combination of seasons—the lingering colours of fall leaves beneath a blanket of winter snow. To me, it represents the way nature can hold onto one season while quietly moving into another. The warm autumn colours, the cold white snow, and the golden reflection on the lake come together to create a sense of balance and harmony.
