This oil painting of mine, titled “The Sound of Silence”, was created as a tribute to stillness, serenity, and the quiet beauty found in simple things. I painted a delicate orchid arching gracefully over a stack of smooth stones, with a soft candle flame gently illuminating the scene. The warm, earthy tones and textured background are meant to evoke a sense of peace and grounding, like stepping into a tranquil sanctuary. I wanted every element—the petals, the flicker of light, the gentle shadows—to feel meditative and calming. This piece is very close to my heart, as it reflects my own search for balance and inner calm in the chaos of everyday life.
