This painting  was inspired by my love for the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies — a place where towering peaks, vibrant forests, and still waters converge into moments of pure visual poetry.

As I painted this scene, I imagined an early autumn morning, where the world is hushed and the lake mirrors the vivid golds and fiery reds of the season. The red canoe rests quietly at the water’s edge, as if waiting for someone to return, or perhaps to begin a new journey.
