This oil painting of mine, titled “Oops!”, is part of a lighthearted series where I explore the curious and sometimes chaotic nature of cats. In this piece, I painted a mischievous tabby caught in the act—peering intently from a toppled pot, with vibrant orange tulips spilling out beneath him. I really enjoyed capturing the moment just after the “accident,” when the flowers are slightly bruised and the water has started to drip off the edge of the table. The dark background sets off the rich tones of the tulips and the cat’s fur, allowing the scene to feel both dramatic and playful.
