Medium: Acrylic and resin mixed media on wood board
Size: 24″ x 36″ x 1.5″
This gallery-type wood board does not require framing, as the sides are painted.
This painting was done with acrylic paints, modeling paste, real rocks, and pigmented resin layers. Except for some rocky sections, the painting has been covered with epoxy resin, resulting in a high gloss surface that brings colours alive and adds depth and dimension to the painting.
To coat my paintings, I use ArtResin, the highest quality, non-yellowing, non-toxic epoxy resin.
How to care for this painting?
For cleaning purposes, dab the painting lightly with a dry cloth or a feather duster. For a more deep cleaning, a glass cleaner such as Windex can be used on the resin portion, and then dried with a soft cloth.
Resin covered works do not yellow or crack with age. However, to maximize its longevity, the painting should be kept in a dry place, away from direct sunlight or excessive heat.
