After almost four months of being absent from artistic endevours, I decided today to start on a painting. What to paint, what to paint? A seascape sunset, of course. Add a few rocks, a few sand speckles, and voilà!
Here is the painting….I did not give it a title yet. This is just the underlying acrylic background, but I will also apply a coat or two of resin on top and make some (hopefully interesting) resin waves.
I will post the picture of the completed work as well, hopefully in the next couple of days.
Well…. it was indeed a few days, but I have now finished the painting. I coated it with resin, it’s nice and shiny, and I must say I am very pleased with the outcome.
I named it “Dark Clouds” because, well, I couldn’t come up with something more catchy, but I think it will do.
