Between October 29th and November 3rd, 2017, I was fortunate to participate in a five–day advanced realism workshop by Dirk Dzimirsky, German hyperrealist artist, in the artist’s studio in Warmsen, Germany. The workshop was focused on graphite pencil drawing, and was attended by drawing enthusiasts form the US, Spain, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Saudi-Arabia, and Africa, as Dirk is worldwide renowned and considered one of the best hyperrealist artists.
The experience was a great one, and I learned a few drawing techniques that hopefully will strengthen my own.
